Difference between Cateye CE-EL500 & HL-EL500?
The CE-El500 is on sale for $34.95 and is not listed on Cateye's website. However, the HL-EL500 is listed on Cateye's website and can be found for $44.95 to $49.95 online.
Does anyone know what the differences are between these? The descriptions seem to be the same.

Post a link to the CE-EL500.
It sound like someone thought CE for Cateye is the way to do it. Plus a retailer can put any part number he wants on the thing for his inventory. It sounds kind of like a Nashbar number for the same light.

Yep, just a Nashbar Part number. Look at the part numbers for a few things and you can see the pattern of how they use the Initials of the manufacturer in the part number. TP=Topeak LK=Look etc.
