A first time for everything
On Sunday, our club had it's century ride. Since none of us are Lance wannabes, after the ride we sat at a pub and enjoyed a pint while we sort of got used to sitting and not pedalling lol!
The bikes were all on our car carriers and most were locked....mine was and nothing was stolen.
We came out after the beer and before we left, I automatically did a security check on the bike before I drove away. The front wheel fell of the fork and hung up on the brake pads! The only thing I can think of is someone slackened off the QR, setting me up for a crash on my next ride.
First time for me.

Probably a thief wanted the wheel, but was too stupid to figure out how to loosen the brakes. I doubt that it was sabotage, but it's a weird world...

yeah, someone put Potassium chloride-dimethylethyl nitrate in my water bottle when I wasn't looking...I'm pretty sure it was the Commies.
-but the thought of someone tappering with my front wheel is [really] terrifying(!) -seriously OMG
