road race shoe size

i have just bought my first pair of road race shoes shimano sh-r125.
narrow fit road race shoes , igot two sizes up, they fit tight with the straps done up .but give me a bit of play round the toes
do you find this is qiut commen that you have to get a bigger size, or do you think i have got to bigger size .

People say that shimano runs tight. I got Answer shoes like 2 weeks ago that fit perfect.

So you decided to buy narrow road race shoes, knowing you have large feet, so you bought two sizes up from what you need, but instead of having only larger shoes, you're surprised to see that they are also longer?

Just buy a larger (NOT longer) model (or brand) and be done with it, your fitting might be well of and you might be unable to put the cleat back enough to position it on the ball of your feet.
