bicycle dreams
Anyone else have dreams about bikes?
Yesterday I ordered a Long Haul Trucker frame from the LBS (I’ve tried to get one in from one shop for about a month now, but had to go to another and that is another story). So last night, I had a dream that it came in and it was the wrong size—a 60 instead of a 56. So, in my dream, I was determined to see if it would fit anyway. I started to put the bike together and in the process, the neighborhood start gathering around me, kids, women, men, young, old and I could hear them saying things like, “It’s never going to work.” And “the boy is mad.” And they were pointing at the bike, trying to touch it and I and I tried to guard it and I felt this huge amount of pressure building up and then the alarm clock went off.
Btw, this is not the first bike dream I’ve had; I've had many.

I had a dream that I had discovered some new technique for climbing hills. I can't remember what the technique was other than it allowed me to climb so fast that I had to fight to keep the bike beneath me.
Needless to say I don't see that dream coming true any time soon.

I'm often cycling in my dreams. In the morning all the blankets will be on the floor from me spinning in my sleep.
I wonder if anyone has 'sleep ridden'?

What a bizarre coincidence - I dreamt about BikeForums this morning. I can't believe I actually had a dream about an ongoing discussing here in BikeForums. And it was an imaginary discussion!
And then Jeff mentions that he only uses a rear gear (another thread) the day after I'm thinking about that whole issue.
This is too weird.

My telepaths are poised to send thought streams of terror to paralyze the empathic spies of the enemy.
I just hope they have not had any clones evolve into anti-telepaths yet...might get ugly.
Keep you thoughts to yourself, practice anti-empath psi blocking.
A couple ounces of scotch before bed will do the same.

I have a recurring dream...I'm riding my usual ride and I'm just sooooo happy. The weather's perfect and I never get tired, thirsty or hungry and I just ride and ride and ride....forever.....................
It doesn't end until the alarm goes off. Then it's reality. sigh.....
