You know that you're addicted to bicycling when...

You discover that you take better care of your cycling outfit(s) than any of the rest of the clothing you wear.

When building your new bike you end up buying a crankset that is more expensive than the entire group you originally planned to buy... just did it!

1. You set a leather reclianer out by the curb to make room for your recumbent trike, which is what you sit in to watch TV.

2. You have to move your trike over to make room for your wife's trike, because she wants to watch TV also.

You know you're addicted to bicycling when you own more cycling outfits than you do regular clothes.

An attractive member of the opposite gender pulls up alongside at a stop and you stare only at his or her bike.

You notice a spot of chain oil on your leg and go to wipe it off, only to realize it's a bruise you don't remember acquiring... (just did this - am at work, wearing a decent skirt suit, and completely spoiling the effect with said bruises)

You know you're addicted to bicycling when...

you insist on having a matching-colored helmet for each bicycling outfit you own.

-you have 2 bikes currently at work.
-you keep a spreadsheet at work detailing all your commutes, including average speeds, distances, times, and current gas prices (maybe that's just nerdy).
-even when you're at target you have to take a quick peak in the bike aisle.
-you know you're slowly becoming addicted to riding fixed gears when that 2nd bike at work is your road bike gathering dust, and no matter how sore your legs are you can't f***in' wait to ride home on that fixed gear . . .

Is it 5:00 yet?

When you are on a first date with another cyclist and you decide to go to the bike shop to walk around before you go out to eat.

That's too funny, I just added gas prices this afternoon...along with a little calculation about how much $ I saved by commuting. What a crackup! (says the nerd)
