He may be Indian, but this is not '3rd World inginuity', the staging and lighting tower in the background are European, I'd guess the picture was taken in central western Europe, probably Germany.

What speed do you recon he can get upto ? Would he give a road bike a run for the money ? Will Lance get one for the TdeF next year ?

It looks like the second seat is to rest his elbow on while he attracts bizzare stares from cyclists.

If you look closly at the persons feet, the left foot looks deformed, the front seat may be to rest his upper body on. Very interesting, given a chance I would like to try ridding it.

Looks to me like a tandem, with a recumbent front seat, for a very small rider. The presence of pedal spindles only might suggest a creature with gripping toes.

That's one hell of a creative mountain bike. It appears to allow pedaling and assist with arms.

Maybe Schwinn inspired him with the design... truly an exercise bike.
