Hey where's Utah. I mean you left off the state that the owner of the site lives. Not to mention that Moab is in Utah.

I will admit to living in South Dakota, anyone who says they wouldn't live here probably hasn't.

We've been there. We about died on our tandem that day! Hot, Humid, Hilly and Head-Windy, and a lot of miles to ride. We were coming from North Dakota on one of the CANDISC rides. That was one tough day!!! We made it in though, Mobridge has a wonderful library with great air conditioning (we were very thankful for that). The next day was a whole lot better.

Stop by SD in the winter, heat won't be a problem. Or maybe it's North Dakota that has some ridiculous suicide rate in the winter. My ex was from SD, and she made it sound like hell.

The poll format gives only 10 options, so 5 different polls?

Why are there now TWO pages of-"this poll sucks!"? This is pathetic.

I see New Mexico isn't on the list either! Course, many folks don't even think we're a state. My wife is from Idaho and every time we would go to visit her grandmother she would wonder how we were doing living in Mexico.

I was just curious. What I cant figure out is why if people dont like a thread they waste their time posting in it.

I don't think that it's that people don't like it, more like they're trying to work it out.

To fan the fires of the unrepresented cyclists, I've asked some friendly, non-bicycling stand ins to post from 'approved' states to make you guys feel more inadequate riding in 'non approved' states.

Wow, you spent a whole day in SD, no wonder you didn't like it. Did you get west of the Missouri river?
Western SD has no resemblance to east river.

Ummmm....wrong oh unenlightened one..I live in New Jersey, but I will, hopefully, be moving to Canada. I was, however, born and raised in New York.

I live in a state of bewilderment and confusion, but since those choices weren't there, I chose California.

I don't think he got the Pole part.

I guess you must be from Poland??!!

I never said we didn't like it, it was just a tough day on the tandem. Mobridge was our turning point from west Missouri river to East Missouri river ride (north).

Why does this quote not surprise me that it's coming from you. Leave it to Gus to find someplace with air conditioning, nice comfy chairs, and a quiet place to snooze.
