My hat's off to Congressman Blumenauer. At least someone is raising a voice in Congress about a topic that is important to those who commute.

Thanks for posting Pete. How can any Congress person not support this?

I believe blumenauer is the representative who bikes to work (Congress) and doesn't own a car (or at least he doesn't maintain one in DC). Anyone confirm that?

Heard about this one a while back. Apparently there were already a few motoring primates doing a good old fashioned whinge about it. I think that will be this guy's biggest obstacle. In saying that, I wish him luck all the same.

I dont know about you guys, but i just sent off a quick note in his contact form thanking him for this bill, and letting him know that there are thousands of cyclists in the USA that support him, and this bill.

Now i know why i wanted to move to Oregon.
