While back in London, they were fined when two customers found in one burger, an insect, and in another, a piece of cloth. The judged fined them for "selling food unfit for human consumption." A mate I worked with read this aloud, and said they've been doing that for years!
Look at the people that regularly dine there, and think about the way you define "human".

If someone were to start signing multi-million dollar contracts for professional cyclists in America, you can bet your a@@ lycra and coolmax would become the next fad next to Air Jordans.
Thats the most brilliant observation of a pissed off airmchair athlete I have ever heard.

A drive through funeral home? Hmmmmmmmm.

Do they have "Self Service?"

After all, there are Braille instructions on the drive through ATM at my bank

I'm just back from a trip to the States

I was astounded to see on the TV adverts for drive through pharmecy. Drive through banks are so common they don't even advertise them. I have never come across either of these in the UK and I hope I never do!

I suspect the phrase "Nobody Walks, Everyone Drives" (taken from one of the numerous Car TV advets) is a very appropriate way of summing up life there.

I now really admire people that commute by bike in the States for going against this kind of brain washing (and brain washing is what it is). Keep it up guys.

I found drive-through banks useful on my bike, it means I don't have to bring it in or anything!

I do find that many of these drive-through stores mean more idling motors while people don't walk the fat butt into the store!

Of course, your point is well taken, Maelstrom.

But wearing a football jersey is not a substitute for doing the work. Too many Americans live vicariously, idolizing others rather than achieving something themselves.

What kind of reward awaits someone who sits on the sofa drinking beer and watching a football game, who lets their body
lapse into obesity?

Thats easy. Heart Disease, Diabetes, rising health care costs and then death, and then finally family heart ache.

This is an ad of Vienna subway company, which I saw on the wall in Vienna, Austria.

It is written on the poster: "Let you time, Julia is stuck in a traffic jam."

On the poster an actor is performing before a numerous audience in a theater.
