Went for a ride and pissed off a lot of drivers while taking advantage of my rights. I just did what most people tell me to do on my posts.."Flip-it!"
Also I picked up a new technique for turning fast and sharp from a motorcycle magazine. That opened up a whole new gateway for bicycling to me that made me feel like I was 11 again!

Should we all say,
"Shhh! I can't tell you where I bicycle, but I had a great ride today?"
If there IS an interest in regional and local bicycling, then why not ACCOMMODATE it, rather than fight it?
We have had a number of group rides, had an entire group from Denver go to Santa Fe and a lot of good shared local information on the Denver thread, all as a result of the "Glorious" thread.
Then, of course, there is the never-ending and multi sectioned "Aussie" thread.
Methinks I smell some sour grapes!

I had a really nice ride this morning. I left my house in Curtis Park just before 6am, clear and 40F. I rode south on Freeport Blvd. past Executive Airport, letting the stoplights dictate my route. When I got to Meadowview/Pocket Road, the light was red so I turned right to make a clockwise loop of the Pocket.
Traffic was light and considerate. The Sacramento was high, fast, and muddy. Tiger streaks formed on the eastern horizon as I looped back past Land Park, and over the Sutterville overpass to home.
