Has anyone had a problem posting a .jpg or any other graphic attachment? I posted one about a week ago and haven't been able to do it again since. Pic is only 79k. I've even tried smaller sizes to no avail. I've asked Joe and he doesn't know why either. I'm using Win2K Pro and IE 6.0 on one computer and Win98 and IE 5.5 on another. Neither one works. Anyone else had this happen? Thanks, Dirtgrinder

I'm using IE 5.5, Windows 98, and attempting to attach a roughly 69-K .jpg image to this. I tried to attach one the other day and had your problem--nothing happened. So for the photo in my "profile" ("Who are you?") I made a link to my webspace with the "img" tags.

Let's see if this attachment works!

I just selected it by using the "Browse" button.

P. S. Hey! it worked this time. Why not before??? Suggest you try again also, and make sure the file name actually appears in the box after you hit "Browse" and select the picture.

Ok, i think i have found the problem, its MySQL It looks like my current my.conf file packet size is limited to ~50k, so there are sometimes problems uploading larger files, im going to go ahead and try to edit / change that to 100k, as that is the current max file size for upload. I'll keep ya all updated

Thanks for the reply Jon. I'll try again for about the 20th time. The path to the pic and the name of it does show up in the box, but when I post it, it's not there. Even in the preview. I'm normally pretty sharp on computers but this one has me stumped!
Now it worked. I don't get it. I think maybe if you look at the preview first, it erases it. (The attachment)
Thanks again, Dirtgrinder

Ahh, you are correct, it looks like when you preview a post, it deletes the attachement field, i'll try to fix that ASAP

Bikes: Bikes: Giant hybrid, Trek 4500, Cannondale R800 Some commuting 20mi/day, mostly fitness riding - 20-50 mile rides

Thanks for the heads up about previewing the shot first, that seemed to be the problem with mine as well.
