Over The Hills

"Over The Hills" is an interesting cross-America book was written several years ago by David Lamb, an L.A. Times reporter then in his mid-50's. He did very little training for the trip, smoked cigarettes all the way across, and existed on mostly pie and ice cream. Last I heard, he was in training for the Baltimore Marathon, still smoking and now in his early 60's. He's a very talented, humorous writer who has non-biking reporting assignments all over the world.
