frame savers??

frame savers??
Ok, now this probably comes as a REALLY dumb question to most in here, but I honestly can't work this out.
I bought a bike, and it came with this package that contained a 'chainstay protector' and 'frame savers'. Now, I know what the 'chainstay protector' is and where it goes, but where do you put the 'frame savers'??? In the package, came 4 larger circular stickers, and 4 smaller ones.
Any suggestions?

Bikes: Lemond Arrivee, Felt F1 Road, Tomac Revolver(full), GT race (hardtail)
They protect the frame paint from cable rub...put them in the places where the shifter and brake cables touch the frame.
