ISO - Locking Outdoor Storage System

We have 3 cherished bikes in our household and just moved to a very small house (renting) with *white* carpet. At our last house, we kept the bikes in the living room but we are trying to keep this house free of grease and dirt. We have no outside storage. I am trying to research a good shed or outdoor/ backyard storage system. Our new place has a great backyard and the weather is not a big concern. I would love to hear some outdoor locking storage suggestions. Can individuals buy or afford to buy bike lockers that municipalities use at transportation hubs?

I think that the last time as was at Lowe's, I saw some "build it yourself" backyard sheds that were a good size for four or five bikes. If I used something like that, I would also still use a hefty chain to lock all of the bikes together inside the shed. That way, if a crook broke into the shed, he would be faced with carrying out all of the bikes in one heavy, bulky bunch...crooks are lazy, so hard work may send them elsewhere.
