When riding DART light rail, there generally isn't anyone on the train to either allow or deny access with the bike. Unless the DART police happen to be checking tickets on the train, the only DART employee is going to be the driver locked in the front compartment. So, most of the time, you could bring whatever bike you want on the train.

I'm going to get a really seriously big garbage bag, then fold it up outside of the view of metro idiots. Then I'm going to walk in and proceed to the train. **** metro and the ****ing train they rode in on (or didn't, since they're constantly having train problems).
