shoes/pedals question...

this is kinda dumb, but i am in the market for a pair of mountain shoes (sidi), and was wondering what the best pedal is to get that are compatable. i've never owned mountain pedals, but would like a pair that has 0 float... is this possible?

0 deg. spds?

thanks!

Don't run red lights, wear a helmet, use hand signals, get some cycle lights(front and rear) and, FFS, don't run red lights!

Bikes: Yes. The more the better.

I think that most SPD pedals have at least 4 degrees of float.
