Yeh, I was drinking till about 4am this morning and trying to sleep off the hang over all day.. I think I've won this one, but who knows.

Gotta be up in the morning- and as you said- I'm dreading it

I go back to work on Monday, and to be totally honest, I am looking forward to it! I loathe and despise this time of year with a bitter passion. I would be riding right now, but once again the hills are covered in bushfire smoke (oh well, at least it won't be too long before there's nothing left to burn!), and to be honest I am bored. At least at work I'd have something to do.

Trying to sleep the hangover off during the day did me no favors I can't sleep right now and I have got 6 hours to go before I have to "wake up" Looks like I am gonna be falling asleep at my desk about 12pm I was going to do a 30 mile ride before as that usually helps me to sleep but was still consumed by last night's exhaustion

We were suppost to have a day off. I must have missed that memo because I had to work the day after my drinking.

Fortunately, my job is interesting and my current supervisor is probably the best I have ever had, and I did get in a nice 45km ride this (New Year's) morning.

Bikes: A lot: Raliegh road bike, 3 fixed gears, 2 single speeds, 3 Cannondales, a couple of Schwinns

Not only have I had to work the past couple days(today included), but I've done doubles three days in a row with a triple yesterday. I'm worn out. Had the flu to boot on NY day. I feel like I'm 2 days out from my last century, not even close to being recovered. (No, I don't drink either, this is my 15th New Year clean and sober).

I go back to work tomorrow after having two weeks off. While I love my job teaching a bunch of sweet 5th graders, I do hate to go back. And it will be a long time before I get any more time off!

This is the main reason I hate to go back....I have had him much of these two weeks, and it may be a while before I get to see him again!
