Went for a ride with Allister in Brisbane about 18 months ago. Also met up with Cabledonut last year when he was visiting the Gold Coast. Haven't heard from either of them in a while.

Marty,
I'm sure not recently. I've been lucky to get out once a week and it's usually not in Frisco.

I met purple hayes shortly after he joined. His work is not far from mine. Visited him a few times during lunch and did a couple of rides with him.

I met PrimalQ last August and did a group ride with him. I was supposed to ride the Silver Comet Trail with him in early December but I got lost trying to find our meeting place .

Some warm, sunny day I hope we can get an Atlanta-area BikeForums members group ride organized.
That would be a great picture to post here.

UncaStuart & I belong to the same bike club. I went on one of the rides he led back in the summer. He planned out a nice ride that took me to some local roads that I hadn't ridden before. He wore his Bike Forums jersey that day, too.

I met Dale Young (Gus Riley) at RAGBRAI last year and rode with him a few times during the week (the rest of the time I shouted insults at him as I passed him). Gus posted a pic of us together in this forum in the thread he had started for RAGBRAI.

Allister still posts occasionally on the bike-qld and bike-oz lists. Maybe he just doesn't get the time to post here as well.

I have been on a couple weekend tours with BLWYN. That was neat.

I plan to meet Rainman this month too which will be really big since we have been communicating for a couple years.

both spire and wabbit are in my club. they're both fine cyclists and a pleasure to ride with. someday, spire will kill me in sprints. not yet, but someday...

on the other hand, we've pretty much decided that 2003 will be the "year of putting the hurt on spire." we let him sit in last year. not this year.

I met Tree Trunk at RAGBRAI and traded some insults with him as he passed me! Also during RAGBRAI I met Outashape and Puddle Jumper. Then during GRABAAWR I met BLWYN and his better-half. We just missed Nebill and a couple of others at RAGBRAI as well.

Nice picture Tree Trunk

I expect eventually to meet one or more of my fellow southern California members, and maybe even Denver Fox, who used to live in San Diego County. Unless it is pouring rain, I am generally out on Coast Highway 101 or in the Rancho Santa Fe / Del Dios Highway area just after daybreak on Sunday mornings.
