Any Chicago riders?

I'm new to the forum and wondered if there were any members who live in my neck of the woods (the Northside of the city or the Northern suburbs?

So am I. On the other side of Wauconda, closer to Mundelein. Do you ride road? We should hook up in the spring sometime. I sure don't plan on being out anytime soon! How long have you been riding?

I will be riding road as soon as I get my bike built up. I've been riding seriously for about 5 years now. I work at Barrington Bicycle Company-we'll be starting shop rides in March (weather permitting). It's usually about a 31 mile loop averaging around 18-19. Other than that, I'm always up for a good ride.

I do recall seeing a guy a couple times that flashed a peace sign.

Bfrong-I don't know if you're into mtb rides but we're doing Sunday rides in Deer Grove forest preserve. We start in the horseshoe drive on the East side of Quentin just North of Dundee. Usually it's about a 14 mile ride, leaving at about 11 a.m. Starting in March we'll have some road rides as well as some rides at Deer Grove during the week. We also do some indoor training at our shop. PM me if you want more info.
