How I got into cycling for under $1000

Finally bought a real bike this year and I am totally hooked. Bought the road bike this this year because I wanted to try cycling in general and maybe a triathlon so I bought a Trek 1000 entry level model. Compared to what I had ever ridden this thing was a cadillac. So I have been cycling all spring an summer did an olympic distance triathlon and I just can't get enough. LBS was having a clearance sale this weekend and picked up the Gary Fisher Marlin. Both bikes are entry level but at just over $600 for the Trek and just under $400 for the Fisher I'm in for about $1000 with a grin a mile wide!

Don't leave these two alone with each other. Somehow, two bikes can turn into three, then four...it happens...watch out...
