I will be there also with a couple of friends. I ride an old Trek 2300 with Spinergy wheels. Hope to see you there, Bill.

We should meet up somewhere up there. Are you riding the 21, 26 or 47. What time are you heading up there?

It's a little far for me, but while I'm out on my ride, I'll be thinking of you guys!

Hey Bill --- my buddies and I plan on being at the start for the 8 AM registration time. We are leaving Warrenville at 7 AM. We haven't decided what route we are riding. Some of us are saying to start with the 21 and see how we feel after that, some are pushing for the 47. I do not feel ready for the 47 right now.

See you there! It's supposed to be a wonderful day.

Some guys from our shop will be there at 8. Look for a pair of Yeti Road Projects (mine has an old RS Judy fork on it as I am waiting for my "real" fork). I think we are going to start with the 26 and see how we feel from there.

that ride intersects my own training route. i just rode from home (tight schedule) i picked up many riders along my 35 miles today. special thanks to the guy from McHenry riding the Kestrel - we took turns pulling into the 15 mile an hour headwind on Fairfield (from Gilmer to Old McHenry Rd) avg'ing 23.5 mph.
since all the snow was still melting, my yellow jersey has very nice black streak. my bike has never been so dirty. this will be real work to clean.

RiPHRaPH, if you're ever looking to hook up with a group riding in that area, our shop does group rides there Sunday mornings. Usually average about 19 for a 30-35 mile loop starting in downtown Barrington and traveling on a good portion of today's routes. My brand new bike is a mess too-we went out early when it was still pretty wet. Oh well, it was a great ride.

My bike was filthy also and so were my teeth -- I made the mistake of opening my mouth while drafting! Great day for a ride. We got there as the dense fog was lifting. That's the most people I have seen at the St Pat's ride.
