Got a reply:
Yes, it's down.
Apparently one of the pages on the site is giving me problems. I just need to figure out which one. It's causing a memory leak if you know what that is. Pretty bad situtuation. Hopefully I'll have it worked out by tomorrow (Friday). Don't worry, I'm not giving up. The site is way too much fun. Sorry for the down time.

Thanks, Joe. Guess I'll have to keep a pen and paper log until it's back up.

So how is everyone going? I'm up to 1,261km or so right now. That puts me beyond Balladonia Roadhouse and well on the way across the Nullarbor. Should pass Eucla and eventually into South Australia in the next week or so.

I have not been on my bike for any significant distances in almost two weeks. Loong loong hours at work, requiring every waking moment. No time for riding until tomorrow.

I did a 40 mile ride today and have just made it to Norseman. Gives me a 501 mile total so far. Puts me on pace to reach Adelaide by the end of the challenge.
It's going good for me and the weather is pretty much cooperating.

Here's a summary of my efforts. During the period of 5-30 April I rode 339.8 miles or 543.68 km. I have no idea where that would put me on the trip other than being about 14% of the way through the route.

Got in 150 over the weekend. Looking to kick up the mileage now, after tomorrow school is officially out of my hair.

My mileage from 5 April through this last weekend is 790mi/1270k. Chugging along, and hoping that this late, wet Spring here dries out a little bit more.

I'm up to 732 miles which is about 22 miles past Balladonia. Well on pace to reach my goal, Adelaide by June 30. I'm actually ahead of pace a bit... so I'm toying with the idea of stepping it up so I can reach the VIC line, which is about an additional 300 miles.
I'm sure everyone is way ahead of me, but I was wondering if anyone is on pace to actually reach Melbourne by June 30?

I'm pretty sure I am, or at least, I was the last time I updated (a couple of weeks ago). I might go and check that shortly.

I'm not, thats for sure. Plus with my upcoming move (June 30 LoL) riding time is going to start decreasing to almost a stop for a few days.

I am now just over half-way between Ceduna and Wundinna. The Nullarbor is behind me. I should reach Adelaide by the end of next week (now that I don't have this CPA crap to worry about). I might just up the km a bit over the next couple of weeks.

Just cleared the SA line this past weekend. Been taking a breather this week since it's been rainy all week and I had a little operation on my tongue. Those pain meds kinda take the uhmph outta your motiviation.
Hope to be back in full riding mode this weekend... if the weather decides to clear a bit.

I've got about a week's riding on bikeprolog that I haven't put into my spreadsheet for this challenge yet. Until it's back up, I won't know exactly how far I am.

Alright, it seems as though I haven't been as slack as I thought in keeping the records. I did have that "lost week" on a scrap bit of paper (not that I did much that week, it was the week of the CPA exam). I can confirm, however, that I did keep my promise of reaching Adelaide by last weekend (on Sunday) in spite of the pitiful, lame attempts of a thieving tosser who deserves to catch SARS and die.
I now have another 400km or so to Mt Gambier, which is a place of personal significance for me as it happens to be where I finished my real tour last year (and where I also spent a lot of time gazing across the Blue Lake).
P.S. I'm getting a little impatient with bikeprolog being down all the time, this seems to be the second lot of downtime in recent memory. I'm in two minds about whether to bother going back or just do up a spanky spreadsheet.
