Finally

For the first time since winter took hold I've managed to ride six days straight: Starting last Thursday, 15 miles, 22 miles, 35 miles, 12 miles, 53 miles, and 10 miles. The Saturday ride was the first early morning ride since October. I had been wanting to start the Saturday morning rides, but heading out in 45 degree temps when you know that it will be 70 degrees in the afternoon is really difficult.

I rode a little almost all winter and was so glad to see spring get here!
I did my first metric century of the year Tuesday and I feel great!

One of my coworkers and I are planning a full century in the very near future. Hope I'm up for this.

Now, now!!! Remember back in the winter when 45 degrees was waaaaarm as hell?

Enjoy those mornings- the day will come when it won't get under 80 degrees and you'll be sweatin' it out at 5am, knowing it's going to be 95 by mid-day.

Ride on dude!!!

I start to get cabin fever after a few days of no riding..Even a ride on the trainer helps.

with daylight savings time I'm finally able to ride 4 days out of the work week (here in atlanta it's really central time zone so it doesn't get dark till 8-9pm) Of course I'm riding the local MTB trail or the olympic horse park. What a relief!
