Nightin

I call it 'nightin'

I looooooove riding at night. It's so quiet and peaceful free of traffic. Can barely see anything, all i do is listen to the tires move through the wind on the hard asphault! and occasionally the radio.

For me it's 'mornin' as in my mornin' ride to work. I ride through some neighborhoods that have newly paved roads in them. It's a wonderful experience.

Nights are so fine. I get off of work at midnight and chase the produce 18 wheelers as they head toward the freeway. I'll chase them from stoplight to stoplight and recover as I return to pick up another. Just one thing to watch...be off the road before 2AM. The drunks start looking for bikes to hit about that time.

Do pre-dawn (i.e. 4am) rides count as nightin'? That's my undisputed favourite time to ride.

Ditto. I love getting away from civilisation when it's dark and just letting the moonlight guide me.
