i have an '86 Atala columbus that is currently running on old 6 speed campy parts. i'm looking into getting a new component group for her and i was wondering if it's possible to fit a 9-10 speed rear cassette on the back, or is the triangle too narrow? thanks a lot.

How wide is the spacing 120 or 126mm? Does it have 700c wheels? Are the brakes short reach or long? Usually, that vintage should have short reach brakes and 700c wheels but who knows. It shouldn't be too hard. I would post this in the Classic or Mechanics forum to get a better answer. Good luck
