Winter - Will it ever end!

Nice sunny day this Sunday in Western PA. Not real warm around 40F or so but warm enough for a nice ride. I heard the weather report for the next couple of days, climbing into the high 60s or low 70s. I was really looking forward to my day of on Friday. I planned to ride every day of my long weekend. Then I heard the news. The bottom drops out late Thursday night and the weekend will have a high of 38 with showers to snow showers possible.

Will winter ever end!!!!!

Yes but while it may be raining snow flakes here this weekend, at least it is not raining bullets.

Assuming LA is Los Angeles or if it is Louisiana and the Big Easy then same difference I guess.

I actually got out today with just shorts and a short sleeve jersey. It was so great, about 65 degrees. Warm again tomorrow, but then comes rain and cold again. I can't wait for this whole cold thing to be over for good.

No ! Just remember back to a few days ago, take some deep breaths, and repeat:

Spring will be here in just a few days...Spring will be here in just a few days...

it was like 60 here in minnesota today. there is still patchy snow and still snow in the areas hidden from the sun, but its getting closer. only thing is that 2 weeks ago we got 14 inches of snow which is making for mini lakes scattered around, so it will be soggy for some time.

Not after the winter we had.

Spring > Fall > Summer > Winter
The only drawback with spring is my horrid tree allergies. That and the rain and snow. Maybe fall should switch spots with spring.

Wednesday
Partly cloudy. Highs 5 to 15 above. North wind 15 to 30 mph...highest along the inlet. Wind chill readings 15 to 30 below zero in the morning.
I'm ready for something besides this.
