Another thread about bibs...
The rain finally ended in Georgia and I got a chance to test my new Voler bib shorts that arrived on Monday. All I can say is WOW!!!
They are so comfortable I thought I was riding naked.
No elastic waistband or drawstring to cause discomfort. The chamois and straps over the shoulder were subtle reminders that I was indeed wearing cycling shorts and didn't have to worry about the police arresting me. 
I think I rode faster too.
Here's my new rating chart.
REI, Nashbar, other "cheap" shorts = 3.0 - 5.0
Pearl Izumi shorts = 5.0 - 6.0 depending on style
Voler shorts = 8.5
Voler bib shorts = 9.5
naked = 10
Voler has their shorts and bibs on sale. My bibs were $44.95.
Maybe I'll try the more expensive brands when (if
) I get another job, but for now I'm VERY HAPPY.

Hi Ba-Dg-Er. I haven't seen you around much lately. Glad to see you're still here. :thumbup:
I used to think PI shorts were great. Then I got an email promotion from Voler. Their shorts were on sale (cheaper than PI) so I bought 2 pairs.
After riding in Volers for about 5-6 weeks I can't say enough good things about them. The PI shorts (even the Ultrasensors) are now in the back of the drawer with the Nashbar and REI shorts and the Voler bibs and shorts are in the front.
Anyone want some free shorts. <j/k>
