Best Computer for less than $60

Any recommendations on high quality yet low cost computers w/ Cadence? Wired or Wireless is fine! I am getting my first bike tomorrow and would like to get a computer right away.

Thanks for the info in advance!

Actually, I got a cheap BELL($16), and my GF's got a cheap GT ($20),both wireless, and they seem to be working just fine for basic cyclometering. They don't have cadence, though (that's what my Ipod is for )

+1 on the Delphi. A 4.0 replaced my old Vetta with a failed cadence sensor. The thing feels well built. Thick, solid case for the computer and a nice thick wire for the cadence unit. The buttons feel excellent. Lifetime warranty. The Vetta that I had before was much cheaper feeling, almost frail.

It also has 4 lines of data: speed, ride time, cadence, and another line that you can choose with a button (I keep it on distance), so you don't have to keep pressing buttons all the time to check different data.

Decide what functions you need on the computer and go to the LBS and forget what you thought you neede and buy the cheapest in the shop.

Current speed-Milage on trip- average speed and total milage the computer has registered. That is all I look at on my computers and you can get that on a $10 nastie.

I bought an astrale 8 with cadence for the Tandem and after we had checked what we are doing- we have never checked it again.

Not sure about price, but i just saw some of the newer Cateye computers in a bike shop and was struck by how small and sleek they are. Really nice.

Astrale 8.

But the cadence function gets old pretty fast, IMO. I'm gonna sell mine to get a speedo with just speed+distance. Let me know.
