...is VACATION!!!!
My panniers are loaded for a solo 50 mile ride to the Ohio river to camp overnight. Hope to head out tomorrow. Its over some big hills and I seldom ride loaded.
Friday is a family trip to Holiday World waterpark.
Saturday is a 62 miler for Lance's Foundation.
Man,I hope I survive my vacation

I am being "laid-off" from work for the next couple of months. I use it as a VERY enjoyable vacation. The unemployment checks cover all of the expenses, and I can cycle EVERY day without being too tired from work. What a great summer it will be. It is great. I am going for a ride now, to see if I can get my first 100 mile week in.

George, I'm self employeed also. Only you can make time off. Cross it off on the calender and write "NO WAY" on it. Then run like ****. Get to a place where there is no phones and you'll be allright. Personally, I have to let go to preserve my own sanity. Remember, you can't take it with you.

I finish teaching summer school Thursday, then the rest of the summer is all mine! I made enough money teaching three weeks of summer school to have some extra spending money so I can have some fun this year.
I am swimming every day already, riding when I have the chance to, and have a cruise to the Cayman Islands to look forward to in late July. I love vacations, too!

JUST got back from my ride. Unloaded my bike, made a BIG glass of iced tea and checked BF.(I see I forgot to unlog, oops) I know I should have checked BF 1st but it's 90 outside and I missed my iced tea
Whoever laided out the Trans-America through Illinois must be 1 twisted mother!! Hill after hill many at least a 10% grade. I had a great primitive camping spot up on a hill overlooking the Ohio River at Golconda. I'll post a picture after I get my film developed then scan them.
