Hello All
Just a friendly howdie new to the forum and to the biking world I bought my first roadie a month ago, after making fun of my lil bro for spending so much money on a bike. I love it though in the last month I've put over 500 miles on my bike all ready and have a 70 miler under my belt and this friday I'm hoping to do my first 100 mile ride. I like the forum it's got some nice people and good info, and it's nice to get comfort that I'm not the only one hated by cars.

Hello, and welcome. I am new here too, and this has been a good place to hang out for the last couple of months. Lots of good people, and lots of good experience here. If you are doing a Century, you must really be in good shape. Tell us something about yourself.

I think I could handle the century I did the 70 miles without clipless and I took the wrong route so I got stuck with alot of hills and curves I think it would be fun, I'm 21 years old all through high school I was involved in sports then went to college got fat and lazy so last summer I redirected my life to a healthy style I dropped 60pounds and now spend most of my free time biking it's great I don't waste my money at Best Buy any more I'm too busy biking, I usually do a 20-30 mile ride 5 or 6 days a week and about 3 days a week after my road ride I join my friends to go mountain biking and I'm training for my first triatholon in September, but I'm having second thoughts about going to Benton Harbor for a triatholon with all the roits they've had lately.

Welcome superman055, you've found a great sport and forum. Good luck with your century, I hope it goes well. I completed my longest ride to date which was 80 miles, and I hope to complete a century sometime in July.
Remember to post back on how it went, and once again good luck, Portent.
