Anyone with a Softride Hitch Rack?
Am interested in purchasing a Softride 2" hitch bike rack for my Toyota Tacoma pickup--will my tailgate clear the rack when it is in the 'down' position? I was looking over the hitch rail easy-mount racks by Thule & Yakima, but I have fenders on some bikes and realized that you would have to squish the fender against the tire with the mount arm--any opinions about the Softride rack?

can't help about the softride.
I almost bought one but it was just ridiculously bulky and heavy...I don't need that thing hanging off the back of my vehichle or sitting in my garage.
Went with platform type rack (leave both wheels on, roll tires onto the tray/grooves and a arm locks down over the top tube to secure the bike)
This type doesn't interefere with the fenders and may be worth considering.
Performance Bike sells one pretty cheap
