Ice pack ... on for 10 minutes, off for 10 minutes, on for 10 minutes, etc. etc. until the pain eases up.

Just curious ... what kind of shorts were you wearing when you went riding in the heat?

I usually have good results with 1% hydrocortisone cream right after a shower until the problem goes away.

And, might be obvious but I'll mention it anyway, make sure your shorts are clean. The only time I've gotten a rash around my bits was when I forgot to do laundry and put on a used pair. Also make sure that all soap is completely rinsed out.

I defiantly feel your pain on this one. I too suffer from this annoyance, often to the point where they bleed and become extremely unpleasant. The best product that I have come across hands down is Anti-Monkey Butt. https://antimonkeybutt.com/ I tried other products but this one works best for me. You can order it directly from the site. I apply it before I ride, jog, weight lift, or know I will be out in the sun for any extended period of time.

Menthol and Camphor on my tender bits? I don't THINK so.

Yup, I got it all up and down my thighs from the heat and humidity - even in the places where my skin was uncovered. PAINFUL!
