Fit Problem?

All,

I am a newbie. I had a full fit done, but I still seem to be having problems sliding forward on my seat. That result is causing numbness and tenderness. My seat is pretty close to neutral. The neck was changed out for a shorter neck as the original was pulling me too far forward. I was wondering if I had them raise the neck up, if that might solve the problem. I have about 200 miles on the bike post being fitted.

thoughts?

Try tilting the nose up a little, don't be afraid to experiment. I just recently had the same problem.

Don't know if applies in your case, but a high saddle can cause you to tend to scoot forward, too. A simple test is just to lower the saddle (mark the position on the seatpost first) 1/8". If it helps, and pedaling doesn't feel more difficult, work from there to fine tune. Otherwise, keep checking back here for better advice.

thanks..I may lower my seat some. The problem was much worse before the Fit as I am 6'4" and everyone tries to put seat a mile high. During the fit my seat was lowered some. That may be the answer...thanks! I will let you know as I will be riding about 30 miles tomorrow evening....
