Pete, what happened to you is absolutely absurd. I'm glad to hear you're okay and hope the lousy fool who did this is arrested. Maybe you should move to New Jersey there are no pedestrians here, just cars. Just kidding. Hope your scars heal quickly.

Hey Pete, hang in there. I hope you get to feeling better soon. And you have a great family, I'm glad they are keeping us posted.

Pete and family. All of you are in our thoughts and the prayers of all of us that pray. It is a scary time, but you will all get through it well, and that is the really important part. Love to you all.

Just caught up with this thread after being away for a few days. Hope you're doing well, Pete, and thanks to your family for keeping us informed. I guess they know how all the BF'ers feel about each other.

Just don't give up on the human race, Pete, this was a one in a thousand case.

I hope those witnesses come forward, though, and whoever did this to you get what's coming to them.

Wow, what a drag! This has really upset me, I can't believe the stupidity of some people. Was this an adult?

I hope you're healing well

Pete, I'm really sorry that something like this has to happen...to ANYone. I think it is really cool that your family would fill every one in at BF on the details as they happen. I don't think you would recover so quickly if you didn't have such a strong family. I won't pray for your bones because they seem to be doing fine recovering without me asking for EXTRA help. Instead I'll pray for your mind so you'll be able to return to your commute without worrying about such a horrible thing happening again.

VIVE STINKY PETE!

Amanda and Toni and all of Pete's family,
You are all in my thoughts and prayers. I know this is just as hard for you as it is for Pete.

The BikeForums "family" is a pretty close-knit group. We are all concerned when something happens, good or bad, to a "family" member.
