i really need help
I dont even know if this is the rite forum but.......
i have been seellin old ten speeds i find. i put lots of work in to them and money but i just got a 1980 panasonic touring bike i was wonder where i could find the serial number and also how much it is worth i been selling touring bike for about 3 months now and the most i got for one is fifty and i think ive been under pricing if you guys could help me out thanx
PS wheres a good place to ride in philly

I could be wrong here but if you're getting $50 for a 1980s touring bicycle, I think you are doing VERY well!
I've got a 1980s touring bicycle in my collection and I can't imagine getting anything more than about $10 for it, if that.

It's not in terrible shape, but when you can go into a thrift shop and there are half a dozen newer mtn bikes all going for about $10-$25, I highly doubt an old touring bicycle would get a second glance.

Old road bikes are worth a lot more than $50 now in most big cities. Talk to the guys in C&V. Here in Austin you can get $100 for a crap vintage road bike and plenty more for a nicer one.
