Specialized Globe
Anyone have any experience with the Specialized Globe line (particularly the std. Globe & Globe Sport)? It was suggested as a possible alternative to the Kona Dew & Dew Deluxe (which I test drove and LOVED). From the website the bikes look nice, but I'm wondering if, having tested a Dew, I would be disappointed...

Another alternative to the Dew is the Jamis Coda line of bikes. Damn fine bikes for the money, and their are several to choose from.

I just bought a Globe Sport and have been riding it for about a month. I like it but am not knowledgeable enough about bikes to give any critical review. Just use it to ride the paths around my home. It's mostly a good form of exercise for me and I'm loving being outside. It's outfitted completely with 8 speed Shimano Alivo components. It'll do till I get my XC bike built. Still collecting parts for that.
