I was rummaging through my books this evening and stopped to look through Edward Gorey's collection of cycling postcards, The Broken Spoke. The book was published in 1976, and, according to the publication data, some of the postcard drawings first appeared in issues of Sports Illustrated. I thought I'd post this one:
