Mexican bicycles
A while back, I had run across the website of Husky bicycles, industrial-type bikes, and I think they are made in Mexico. Got me curious what other bikes are made there, if any? Googling around (in English) turns up very very little information. I found one article, though, that mentioned Mexican bicycles were generally 28" tire size rather than 26", which implies they aren't the same ol' Walmart cruisers that we see here. Anyone got any links or info? Have they been overrun by Chinese imports like the US?

I have a Windsor Competition. A Mexican road bike of the late 70's early 80's era. It rides on 700c (28") wheels. A quality build of good Columbus tubes, with an eclectic mix of parts.

I have actually been curious about this for the last few months. I am heading down to Mexico for 2 months in early 2008. I will let you know what I find, but if anyone has any ideas on brands that may be made there let me know.
