Getting into competitive cycling

I like in the Milwaukee, Wisconsin area and I am looking into getting into competitive cycling in this coming year. I am not part of any cycling groups or teams as I have only been cycling for about 6 months. If anyone is from the area or has any ideas of how I can start please let me know. I have a high competitive spirit that I need to fill soon.

visit your LBS and ask what's happening in the local racing world.

There's a Velodrome in Kenosha. Get yourself a fixed gear.
