Interesting Places

Perhaps an interesting thread revealing BF members and their bikes while at interesting locations.

Wrigley Field, Chicago. They have a free bike valet right next to the stadium. Yes we watched the Cubbies lose.

Lake Washington is where the big guys hydroplane race once a year? That's a cold swim!

Bikes: Lots

For more pictures of bicycles in interesting places, I started a thread which has grown to quite a few pages, here:

The storm was a light show for sure. I got ran out of my tent by the fire department and had to evacuate to a local school. I slept on the hard school floor most of the night. In the morning my tent was one of the very few still standing.

Unfortunately there was one death where a man was crushed by a tree while he slept in his tent.

I honestly thought there would be an abundance of pix with riders next to places such as the largest ball of thread in the world, or Mt Rushmore, the Eiffel Tower in Paris... I can't be wrong, there must be riders who have seen the sites!!

Our team ended up trying to sleep in our team bus. My tent only got wet in the corner where my cell phone was sitting. The school at the campground the next night looked like a FEMA staging area. People sleeping all over the floor and damp clothing hanging off every surface. We put up a clothes line and got stuff somewhat dry. It took days to get everything dry and catch up on sleep.
