Too many projects!
Wouldn't you know it. The day that I finish building my single speed fixie up I go and pass a garage sale that has a SWEET 1978 Raleigh Competition GS on sale for $35. This bike has Campy hubs and Campy Nuovo Gran Sport derailers front and back. Cinelli stem and bars. Cateye Vectra computer Shimano 600 front brake (it's missing the back brake) Shimano 105 cranks and Biopace rings. I always wanted to see what the whole biopace thing was about. Anyway, I got the bike for $10. Looks like I have another rebuild project before the paint even drys on the first one. I'm really starting to enjoy this!
PS: Anyone have an extra Shimano 600 rear brake laying around that they don't want?

Oh you dog! What part of town was that?
p.s. If I had that brake, I'ld let you have it.

My '70s Puch came with Shimano 600 brakes. Altho i put Aztecs on they would hardly stop me on hills, so i swapped them out for Shimano 105s. Never a frown.
