Bikes: Nishiki Nut! International, Pro, Olympic 12, Sport mixte, and others too numerous to mention.
I would love to go downhill at speed! However, going down the overpass with traffic passing by (in the same direction as me) only 3 or 4 feet away is quite scary! The bicycle lane, as such, is only 2 ~ 3 feet wide at best!
Frankly, I'm concerned that I can't maintain a proper line going down. I can imagine myself drifting across into passing traffic!!!
There are roads on hills nearby with grades around 20% or so! I would like to 'conquer' these roads, but they are quite steep! Maybe in a few years time???
Not good!
I will say that 20% grades are steep! Definitely get comfortable with the overpass concept before you tackle those hills.
