Bicycle powerpoint slideshow

Hi
I have to give a presentation at work to people so they understand the different parts of a bicycle (its for the insurance business).
I need a powerpoint demonstration comprising a bike frame with all the various bits (wheels, transmission etc) that I can progressively build up into a complete illustration of a bike.
Before I go and develope one myself I wonder if anyone in bikforumsland has such a powerpoint slideshow or knows of one that I could use.

If I have to build one up myself, then it would be great if I could use high quality, simple illustrations of bike components. Again, do you know of a source ?

I am a complete powerpoint newbie so I don't know about suitable image formats yet.

Thanks
MichaelW

How many different types of bikes are you prepared to go through? There's about 1 million different (significantly) configurations, different types of parts, different types of drivetrains. Ok I exaggerated, it's not 1M but it's quite a lot.

You can start at https://www.parktool.com/repair/

If this is part of your job, you really ought to be doing this research yourself.

Why not bring in a bunch of real bicycle components and assemble them together in front of the group.

I want to use the powerpoint to link the real bike demo to their takehome paperwork. I may have problems tranporting several bikes to various sites and may want to demo bike types that i dont have.

This is research. In the world of software engineering, using other peoples work is called "re-use" and is quite acceptable as long as no copyright is infringed and suitable credit/payment made.

Click through Sheldon Browns homepage link-by-link. Your presentation will take about 3 weeks of clicking links 8 hours a day, but it will be thorough.

You are a software engineer and you don't know how to use Powerpoint?

Ive never used powerpoint, I usually use whiteboard or pen and paper to explain things. Ive been on the receiving end of ppt though and know how painfull it can be in the wrong hands. I just want maximum effect with minimum effort without breaking anyones copyright.
