Help with installing decals

OK who can tell me how I should go about installing decals. They are to go on an aluminum frame. I am getting the decals shipped from Kona but I don't want to mess the damn thing up so could someone please tell me how I can get them on there and looking professional. THanks for all input.

Are putting a new paint job on the frame or just slapping them on the frame as is? The most professional way to do it is to re-paint the frame, sand the base coat, stick on the decal, then clearcoat over the whole thing. Any other way and they'll just look like cheap stickers meant to hide scratches and dings.

Well if there isn't a way to make it look good without re-painting then I will just leave as is. Thanks.

Yes. They are the ones that come with the frame.
