You'll find some people in SS&FG who are into it.

If it's an official league, you should be able to email them and find out where existing teams are. I wouldn't bet on one in every little town. And if teams are far apart, who do you play?

(Come to think of it, large college campuses might be good areas).

Don't run red lights, wear a helmet, use hand signals, get some cycle lights(front and rear) and, FFS, don't run red lights!

There's some guys in Ann Arbor, Michigan that do it. some are forum members. I believe it's organized by Redxj. I played with them once last fall and had a blast. I plan on doing it more this year

The DC Street Pirates. We're hosting ESPI this year on Apr 26-27. We are actually in the league, but don't do league games because we don't play on grass. We play at 13th & D SE every Thurs at 7pm,everyone's welcome.

I saw it in California in the mid-'80s, I think it was--there was a league, or at least a group of pretty serious players (dunno if they were organized) in Marin County, and some kids used to play on the football field at Santa Monica High School until they got run off. That guy popping a wheelie while he smacks the ball is just showing off, though.

Hell yeah, on tennis courts. It's a lot of fun. I use my old gary fischer mountain bike, with everything removed and a coaster brake only. Its a blast.
