Coffee and Bikes?

Interesting, I was just thinking that if I started a Bike Shop I would run a Coffee shop on the side.
Hey Donna! ( and other Portland residents ) Did you know you have a Bike Thru Coffee shop?
The "Black Sheep Bakery Cawffeeshop." Little more than half way down the article.

When I see spandex in the coffee shop, all I can think is "Weekend Warrior." This might be a regional stereotype.

Donna has a photo somewhere of the drive through window. The menu board has a special listed, which includes a coffee, muffin, and tyre patch kit for a few dollars .

Don't steal my idea!
I've got dibs on the barber shop/coffee bar/bike boutique concept and had it for over 10 years now. Besides, I've already been in the hair business for over 20 years. I've been allowing customers to roll their bikes in with them.
Although I know absolutely nothing about coffee, I love posing at coffee houses. And I know alot about bikes, geared and fixed. I am capable of combining all three under one roof.
Oh, and any cyclist who love their coffee black like I do gets a free patch kit.
I'm serious.

Oh hell yes! There's an old filling station in Sactown that I thought would be ideal for such a set up. I'd have a ride-up window, free air and water, batteries, blinkies, patch kits. And of course real coffee. In small, medium, and large. And if you asked for caramel syrup in your machiatto, I would come out from the counter and kick you square in the pants.

Very nice indepth article. BTW one of my dreams would be to open a shop, and I can't imagine doing that without a cafe. My favorite shop has a leather couch and is always running tour de france or triathlon videos on the big screen. There is always someone just hanging out there, I love it if he added a coffee bar it would be even better. On the plus side, no employee ever goes on a coffe run without asking the customer's if they need something.
