people in martial arts also do. Years of it will make your legs like solid rock.
why do cyclist shave their legs btw? I notice alot of riders out on my recreational rides who all have godamn shaved legs, it's pretty gay.

I was complaining to my sister yesterday that cycling pulled a bait and switch on me. Yes, I have really nicely shaped legs now - but I can't wear shorts without drawing looks of horror from bystanders, owing to the massive bruises,* chainring marks,** assorted scratches, and EXTREMELY weird tan lines! Oh well, I guess I will wear a lot of short skirts with opaque tights this fall and winter...
*I'm a klutz. My sister said, "only you could ride a touring bike, staying on roads, and end up with a downhiller's legs."
**(I can't get within ten feet of a bike - it doesn't even have to be one I am riding - without acquiring a chain mark)

I tend to enjoy physically fit legs on women, and prefer those of cyclists and dancers, but for some reason not so much for runners.
I really like the way dancers walk, I can always spot the dancer in a crowd by the way she walks.

Back in 1983 I rode a faired tadpole trike from Denver to SoCal then north to the SF area. A day after I finished the town I was in had an evening party with a best legs contest for both men and women. I was one of say 15 men and teens up on the stage and had by far the most muscular and well defined legs. The guy who won did so because he mooned the crowd. My personal preference in ladies legs varies. Off the dance floor well muscled trim legs be they bikers, runners, or swimmers are fine. On the dance floor strength is not as critical.

I just realized that the best legs I have EVER seen belonged to the Kids In The Hall comedy troupe. They did a reunion tour this spring and took great delight in cross-dressing in as many skits as possible. And they have better legs than I do. All of them. And they are all men in their 40s I have no idea if any of them bike, but they've done a few "bike messenger" skits so maybe.
Bad video of one of their sketches from the tour: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oeJjY9-Nusg

That's probably what makes it the best part of cycling, plus you get to wear sexy tights. I mean, where else can a guy wear lingerie in public?

Swimmers shave their legs too.
I don't shave my legs (and I'm one particularly hairy dood), but there's no reason to judge people that do.

I just noticed something. How did the OP manage to get a left foot on his/her? (still haven't figured out which) right leg? Obviously the legs aren't crossed so I'm at a loss.

nah just kidding. the right foot is pointing straight (toes pointing out/down). the left foot isn't covered because of this, and so you see only the left foot (although it appears to be on the right leg ).
if you don't see what i mean, look at the arch of the foot. that's a right foot's arch, and left foot toes. you can see the line where the two seem to meet.

I have to admit that my g/f does admire my legs.. but now it's time to focus on the upper body. I don't want to look like a T-Rex.
