OK bit of a newbie! i ride trail in the summer and road mainly now its winter, got a giant NRS, what tyre is good for both road and trail ? i realise its got to be a compromise but hey !

Get a semi slick. Low rolling resistance on pavement but some knobs to hook up in dirt. I used to use a Kenda Kwick and was pretty happy with it.
