Where to get additional internal helmet pads?

Does anyone know the best place to get additional internal foam pads for a kids helmet?

We're trying to make a helmet fit our daughter better. She's got a small cranium, apparently, and we just want to make her helmet more secure while she's riding around on the back of our bikes.

Any good ideas?

Bikes: Custom Zona c/f tandem + Scott Plasma single

Bike shop. Also could wear a sweatband which will increase padding.

If the helmet is a Bell they will mail you pads ( at least they did for me in 2006)

I got some for free from the LBS where I bought the helmet. I took it back and showed them how it fit her, and they gave me a handful of pads.

I work at a bike shop and we always have extra pads. Try your LBS.

+1

Every time I've needed helmet pads I've gone into a bike shop -- and I've done this now at 3 or 4 different bike shops -- and asked "Do you have any of those little foam helmet pads?" and every single time thay've said something to the effect of "Sure, we've got tons of them, because no one ever uses them!" and they give me a handful for free.

Bikes: I've got a bunch...

Giro mailed me new pads for my Havoc when I needed them. Free, too.

Who made your daughter's helmet?

We should have a bunch of them after our bike rodeo this Saturday. Let me know if you still need them and I can mail you some.
