Bar tape?
Need advice on roadbar taping. I just retaped my bar and looks great. However i went to add my century areobars and the brake cables now are in the path of the mounts for these areobars. How do the rest of you riders resolve this issue? Can I bring the cables out while taping or are they dedicated out of the tape completely? Thanks in advance for any help offered.

retape
Had a similar problem. I took the tape off, put my aero-bars in place, and then applied the tape. I even beefed up areas where I noticed that I had the most wear from my hand positions with 3/4 pipe insulation from Lowe's. Doesn't look like a LBS job, but my hands and fingers feel better.

My older, Profile Design aero bars had a clamp with room to run the cable housing through it.
I can't seem to find any with clamps like this anymore.

clamps
You might want to take a trip to Lowe's or Home Depot. Look in the electrical or plumbing area where they will be clamping pipe to an area that has to go through a wall. I found at Home Depot and used "touchdown" clamps for handle bar applications.
